# Export your Shopify change history.

On the Restore plan, build a CSV or JSON file of your change history from the Data room: choose what to export, a date range, a type of record and a level of detail. Actorly builds it in the background.

## Build an export in six steps.

1 **Open the Data room.** Go to Export.

2 **Choose what to export.** Change history (every recorded change) or Current items (one row per item, with its current values).

3 **Narrow it.** Pick a From and To date and a resource type, or every type. Choose whether to include deleted items.

4 **Choose how much detail.** Pick one of the three levels below.

5 **Choose a file type.** CSV for a spreadsheet, or JSON for another system. Choose Build export.

6 **Download it.** Actorly builds the file in the background, so you can leave the page. When it says Ready, choose Download.

## Three levels of detail.

**Basics** What changed, when, and who: resource, field, the value before and after, and how sure Actorly is about the person.

**Basics, plus IDs** Everything in Basics, plus the ids Actorly stores, and whether the field can be put back.

**Everything, including audit evidence** Everything above, plus the evidence Actorly kept for each change. Fields Actorly treats as protected are marked rather than written out.

## Good to know.

- Export is part of Actorly Restore. On Actorly Watch, you can always read your history in the app; downloading it as a file is on Restore.
- An export file is deleted 3 days after it is built.
- An export holds only the history Actorly still has. History removed under a plan's history window cannot be brought back.

## Questions.

### Is export on the free plan?

No. Export is on Actorly Restore, $29 a month or $240 a year. Actorly Watch keeps your history readable in the app.

### How long can I download an export?

Actorly deletes an export file 3 days after it is built. Build another if you need it again.

### Does an export include who made each change?

Yes, with how sure Actorly is, or Unknown. The name and confidence word travel together.
