Choose What Actorly watches on Overview to open a table of every kind of change Actorly records, with whether it shows history, before and after, who changed it, and whether it can be put back. Last updated October 14, 2026 ## Open the list. 1 **Go to Overview.** It is the first item in the app's menu. 2 **Find Coverage.** The Coverage card says how many resource types are watched. 3 **Choose What Actorly watches.** A table opens with a row for every resource Actorly can record. ## Read the table. The columns are Resource, History, Before and after, Who changed it and Restore. Each cell says Yes, Some fields, When Shopify says, Not possible or Not yet. Not yet means the capability is not built; Not possible means Shopify gives apps no way to do it. For who changed it, the answer is only ever "when Shopify says". See [who made it](https://actorly.app/docs/finding-changes/who-made-it). ## Kinds that are checked on a schedule. Shopify sends Actorly no change notice for some kinds. They are marked Checked on a schedule, and a change to one is recorded when the next check finds it, not at the moment it happens. The check is daily on Actorly Restore and weekly on Watch. ## What Actorly does not track. **Payment settings** Shopify shows payment changes in your own admin but does not give that record to apps. **Other apps' settings** No app, including Actorly, can read another app's private data. **Notification templates** Shopify has no API for the content of your email and SMS notification templates. **Staff accounts, checkout branding, tax settings, gift cards, checkout configuration, legacy script tags and other apps' webhook subscriptions** Not tracked, each for the reason given in the table. Actorly cannot show the old and new values of a change made before you installed it. Shopify does not keep them. ## Questions. ### A kind of change I made is not listed. Is it recorded? No. Anything not in the table is not being recorded, and Actorly cannot show its history or put it back. ### Why does a change to a page or menu show up late? Pages, menus and the other scheduled kinds are checked on a schedule, so a change appears at the next check.
