# Troubleshooting Actorly.

The usual questions, answered first: a change that is not showing, Unknown for who, no Restore button, a restore that stopped before it wrote, and a deleted item that is not listed.

## Common problems.

Each answer below says what Actorly did, and whether your store was changed.

## Questions.

### A change I made is not showing

Changes Shopify reports are recorded from Shopify's change notices. Pages, blogs, articles, menus, URL redirects, price lists, policies and files are re-read on a schedule, weekly on Watch and daily on Restore, so a change to one of those appears at the next check. If Overview says Actorly is still building your history, that part's changes appear once its first import finishes. If it still is not there, write to support.

### It says Unknown for who made it

Shopify does not record who made this change. Actorly won't guess, and it won't change Unknown to a name later.

### There is no Restore button

That field cannot be put back, or you have already used this month's restore. Actorly Restore includes unlimited restores.

### A restore stopped before it wrote

Someone edited the field since you opened it, and restoring now would have overwritten their change without you seeing it. Nothing was changed. Look at what changed first, then try again.

### A restore did not complete

If it stopped during its checks, nothing was written. If Actorly could not confirm the value after writing, your store may be unchanged or partly changed: check the field in Shopify before trying again, and give support the Job ID shown on the restore.

### I cannot find a deleted item

Open the Deleted tab in Changes. Actorly does not check some kinds for deletions, and a deletion is listed only if Shopify reports it or a routine check notices it, so an empty list does not mean nothing was deleted.

### It says too many restores in a minute

Wait a moment and try again. Nothing was changed.
