# Uninstall Actorly and your data.

When you uninstall Actorly, Shopify sends Actorly a deletion request 48 hours later, and Actorly then removes your store's history, saved evidence and account records. If you reinstall within those 48 hours, nothing is deleted.

## What happens when you uninstall.

1 **Uninstall.** Shopify tells Actorly at once.

2 **48 hours.** Shopify sends Actorly a store-erasure request.

3 **Erased.** Actorly erases your store's history, its saved evidence and its account records.

If you reinstall within those 48 hours, nothing is deleted.

## Taking your history with you first.

On Actorly Restore, build an [export](https://actorly.app/docs/export) before you uninstall. An export file is deleted 3 days after it is built.

## If you only change plan.

Moving from Restore to Watch keeps the last 90 days. Older history is deleted after 14 days' notice. See [plans and history](https://actorly.app/docs/plans).

## Customer data requests.

When a customer asks a store for the data held about them, Shopify sends Actorly the request. It is not handled automatically: it appears in Settings, Data and privacy, where you download a file of what Actorly holds for that customer and send it to them. Shopify allows 30 days to reply.

## Questions.

### Is my data deleted when I uninstall?

Yes. Shopify sends Actorly a deletion request 48 hours after the uninstall, and Actorly then removes your store's history, saved evidence and account records.

### I reinstalled. Is my history still there?

If you reinstall within 48 hours of uninstalling, nothing is deleted.

### Does Actorly delete my history if I downgrade?

History older than 90 days is deleted after 14 days' notice when a store moves from Restore to Watch. Actorly warns you first.
